Herda’s Truck Repair, Inc. opened on May 1, 1996 with Mark Herda as the sole employee. He started this business with one-bay in the old Amerigas Complex on Stevens Blvd in Willoughby with a borrowed bottle jack and his toolbox. 

Within two years Mark had two full-time employees and was able to move into a three-bay garage in the Amerigas Complex in Willoughby.  This ended up burning down on July 19, 2000 due to accident from an Amerigas employee filling propane tanks. This only made the company stronger and within two years he had fully recovered from the fire and had four full-time employees including his daughter Dawn.

On August 29, 2005 we moved into a 17,000 square foot facility in Mentor with 8 full-time employees.  Only history will tell what happens from here.

Our 17,000 square foot facility is conveniently located off of State Route 306 in Mentor.  Just a 1/2 mile South of Interstate 2 and just 2-1/2 Miles North of Interstate 90.   

Our Hours of Operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
